About Kameron
Expert Analysis
Enoch Miller | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Kam is a 4 year starter for Standley Lake and was named as a team captain for the 2nd consecutive season. She is a “glue” player known for her positive leadership and lightning fast speed on the court. That speed is on full display every spring for the Gator track team in the 100 and 4×100 relay team. Kam is a combo guard that can handle the rock but also knock down the open 3 ball. Defensively, she flies around the court causing havoc and making it extremely tough for opposing guards. I expect Kam to have a tremendous senior season and be an impact player in the Jeffco League.

The forward does well utilizing her wide reach to get steals and create fast breaks. Active on the help side early, Mireles-Ciancio is a valuable defensive weapon alongside Standley Lake’s imposing frontcourt. She stays true to the fundamentals, grabbing box outs early and to convert rebounds.

Mireles-Ciancio shows value handling the ball while being an assertive downhill scorer. Capable of utilizing a few combo moves to free up space, the guard is quick to recognize openings in the lane. Especially quick changing speeds laterally, the 2025 guard is often tasked with taking on the opposing shot creator. Equally versatile versus 1s and 2s, Mireles-Ciancio has repeatedly showed value at the point of attack. Their continued growth as a perimeter shooter will be intriguing, which adds another layer to the guard’s game if possible. Standley Lake will be a competitive opponent against a variety of matchups, featuring dynamic playmakers in the frontcourt and backcourt.
