The last in person viewing of Brown came at the Mustang Holiday Classic, where she was not at her best. Since then she’s been on a tear and helped spark the Roughers’ run to the title game. In the title game, she led them in scoring and rebounds with a 18 point and 10 rebound double double. The athletic wing looked more decisive and controlled in her movements. Shooting it with more confidence from three and off one or two dribbles in the mid-range. Even in the loss, it was a strong showing and indicates Brown should be ready to take grassroots ball by storm.

One of the top athletes in the class. Brown’s biggest improving this season has been working on her shooting, especially as a spot up threat. Which checks out as one of her best paths to next level success would be as a 3 and D wing or a stretch 4. Especially as she has the height and athleticism to compete around the rim on defense. It’s a blast to watch shen she uses her long arms to block shots and play the passing lanes. It’s a big few upcoming weeks for Brown, as the path to the Class 6A State Tournament will bring many premier match ups. Potentially as soon as Owasso next Saturday in the Regionals finals.

Brown has always been a highly regarded prospect for her athleticism and raw upside. She’s been good through two varsity seasons, but hadn’t quite fully taken the next step to great. There are indications that this spring and summer, she’s made the tough jump from good to great. She’s now better utilizing her athleticism as a perimeter player on offense. Shooting it better from three, which opens up driving lanes. Starting to have smooth movements as a driver for a player of her height. While also continuing to be a switchable defender, covering guards and playing against forwards. It’s going to be a potentially scary sight for 6A with Brown teaming up with her new teammates in Muskogee.

transfers to Muskogee from Booker T Washington. The highly ranked small forward has already received offers from the likes of Oral Roberts and Clemson just to name a few. The small forward was a key player in the Lady Hornets making a State Tournament run last season. The type of player that pushes the Double-Double mark every time she touches the floor.
At Muskogee she will teammate up with Madill transfers

who are ranked 1-2 in their class. The Holmes sisters also helped Madill make a State Tournament run last season. Muskogee could have the tallest skill players among any class in the state. Good luck Ms. Brown I will be watching

Closed out the tournament strong, with high activity level and impact in a high level contest. Even in the second half of her fourth game of the weekend, Brown was sprinting in transition to alter shots at the rim. It was a strong sign in how she rose to the competition level in a game filled with prospects who will likely be playing D1 basketball. She scored a bit off the bounce and by battling at the rim. High level athleticism and motor are apparent, it’s just about continuing to refine her skill level to keep progressing.

Elite athlete, who is producing around the rim for 5A favorite Booker T Washington. Fast, agile and a good leaper for her size. Good second jump allows her to compete for rebounds, especially on the offensive end. Runs the floor hard in transition, and cleans up on the glass. Defensively she has the athletic profile to be a perimeter defender, and has flashes of an offensive face up/perimeter game. All the tools and motor are there for her to be a high major player. Something that the staff of Clemson agrees with, as they offered earlier this season.

The athletic sophomore often did the dirty work for Booker T Washington around the rim. Finished with 7 points and 10 rebounds in the title game. Including 6 of the offensive variety. Also battled on defense, even taking a charge. Had a nice push in transition, that ended with a good Euro Move at the rim. Big time athlete who’s competing now around the rim, with upside to be much more down the road.

The Class of 2027 is shaping up to be loaded with versatile, high level athletes. And the new Booker T Washington Lady Hornet is another great example. She has big time hops, as evident by rebounds and swatting shots. Fast end to end speed, runs the floor hard in transition and can push it herself. And her jumper is continuing to improve. Already an impact player, and has the upside to be much more as she continues to her high school journey.

came into the event ranked number #1 small forward in the state according to PGH rankings A very strong skill set that can play 3-5 position on the floor. Handles are good enough to start her own fastbreak on a rebound. Runs the floor on breaks like a guard filling the lanes with good hands to catch and finish. Showed a nice up and under with a step through for the finish.
Defensively a very long player that covers the open gaps very well. Great timing on the jump allowed her to follow the driver to time the block from behind. The player that can drop a double double without any offense run through her. Click below for more coverage

has made the move from Fort Gibson to Booker T Washington. Ranked as the number #1 small forward in her class and #6 overall in PGH Rankins. The 6’0 small forward brings a ton of athleticism to an already athletic Lady Hornet team. Strong offensive skill set that can score in all facets of the game. Great understanding of full court pressure should also be a great fit to the already aggressive Hornet defense. As mentioned the Lady Hornets were already in the fold for Class 5a this season. Then add Brown along with some incoming freshman’s and watch out for BTW come March.
