Katie showcased the versatility to impact the game in multiple ways. She has a strong, well-built frame that allows her to play through contact and contribute on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she scored on a well-timed backdoor cut, stayed active on the offensive glass to earn a trip to the free throw line, and added a putback basket by crashing the boards. She also demonstrated the ability to bring the ball up the floor which highlighted her versatility and comfort handling the ball in transition. Her combination of strength, toughness, and all-around skill set makes her a valuable piece who consistently finds ways to contribute.

Katie is another Kentucky 2027 prospect who has made a significant jump in this rankings update. The phone has been ringing nonstop as her strong play continues to attract college attention. Since the end of the first July live period, she has picked up three college offers while competing with Kentucky Premier 17U E40 Robertson.

Katie simply outworks people. She plays every possession with an incredible motor, brings physicality to the game, and embraces doing the little things that help teams win. Whether she’s chasing rebounds, defending multiple positions, or diving for loose balls, Katie’s effort is constant.

Katie was outstanding all weekend long and impacted the game in multiple ways. She was a major difference maker on both ends of the floor with her versatility, toughness, and physical strength. Katie knocked down jump shots consistently, attacked the rim with confidence, and battled hard on the glass. Her ability to contribute in every phase of the game makes her a player coaches love having on the floor.

Katie was spectacular in their first round win and her stat line proves just how impactful she was! She led the team with 14 points, but her influence was felt all over the floor. Katie added 4 rebounds, 4 steals and tied for the team lead in assists. She was constantly around the basketball, making plays on both ends and setting the tone for Owensboro Catholic in a big Sweet 16 victory!

Katie Hagan Katie Hagan 5'10" | SF/PF Owensboro Catholic | 2027 State KY had her fingerprints all over the 3rd Region quarterfinal matchup against Breckinridge County, helping power Owensboro Catholic to a narrow 49–45 victory. Hagan finished with 19 points, nine rebounds, four steals, one assist, and two blocks, making her presence felt in a multitude of ways on both ends of the floor. The Lady Aces advance and will take on Edmonson County next as they continue their mission to capture the 3rd Region Championship for the first time since the 2022–23 season.

Katie brings toughness, energy, and grit to the floor. A high-motor forward, she averages 10 PPG and a team-high 5.5 RPG. Physical around the rim and efficient from everywhere, she shoots 50% from two and 44.4% from three!

Katie received an offer from Brescia University last month. A versatile wing/forward with good size, she can score both from the perimeter and in the post, while also defending multiple positions. As she heads into her junior season at Owensboro Catholic, she’s expected to take on a much larger role and be a key contributor on both ends of the floor.

Katie was another player whose name I didn’t know heading into the weekend but she left me impressed with her versatility and her ability to score the ball at multiple levels. Hagan is part of a talented roster for Owensboro Catholic and could very well be a major impact this season as the Lady Aces try to get back to Rupp Arena.

Katie was one of the players that really stood out to me at the Expo. I liked what I saw from her in the 2nd 5v5 game. She pulled down rebounds and immediately went the other way with the ball.
