and to no surprise. Reyerson is lengthy and athletic forward with a boat-load of basketball skill. She has everything needed to be a dominate athlete on the basketball floor at the high-school level and beyond. She is fundamental while being consistent and is always doing a lot, but never too much for her teams. Next season she will be playing at the University of Northern Iowa, trying to make her presence known from right out the gate. She is going to be successful. She is motivated, has the athletic ability, and has a bunch of talent that is superior to most her age. All this combined makes for a great receipt for success.

has been nothing short of spectacular during her senior year campaign for West Marshall high school. Reyerson, a university of Norther Iowa basketball commit, has been everything the Spartans have needed and more this season as they hope to make it to the state playoff. Throughout their first 18 games they sit with a 17-1 record while Reyerson is averaging 19.5 PPG, 12.5 RPG, and 7.1 APG. This gives her the ranking of #1 in assists and #5 in total rebounds in the class of 2023 throughout all of Iowa thus far. When looking at the season that she has put together it’s easy to see how she is going to be used immediately at the next level. She is a diverse talent with great basketball skill. Her length and size play nice for the forward spot in high school but will most likely move her to the 3 position on a college court because of her ability to pass and see the floor. The 3A class is stacked with a group of great teams at the top and throughout the top 10 so once the first few rounds of the playoffs are completed we will see who has the best chance to make it to the state tournament. As of now I anticipate West Marshall and company to have a good shot though with Reyerson at the helm. If they can get far enough ahead she will have a chance to average a triple-double (Pts, Ast, Reb) on the way to a state championship. An accomplishment that wouldn’t be able to be put into words

has been one of the most all around complete players this season for West Marshall. Reyerson, the UNI women’s basketball commit, has been a cheat-code for her squad this season while putting up some massive numbers. As an outside viewer you can see someone’s greatness in just their stats at times and so far you can definitely say that about Reyerson, as she averages a double double and has been around the triple double mark a few times this season on the stat sheet. I don’t expect anything in her game to change moving forward with how successful her and her team has been up until this point but for them to continue to grow as a program and compete at the state tournament.

so far this season has put together the most complete stat line as a player I have seen thus far to begin her senior season. Reyerson has lead her team to a 8-1 start with their first loss coming in their most recent game to South Hamilton high school by 1. She is averaging 20.6 PPG on 56.1% shooting, 12.8 RPG, and 6.5 APG to lead her team. She is a complete player that is good about making the right plays in the right spots. She has very high basketball IQ and knows how to get her teammates involved. Right now she is currently a big mis-match against teams who try to play man against her West Marshall team. She has good length, speed, and touch around the rim. All of her offensive weapons have been on display this season as she has recorded some really impressive stat lines, some to where she would almost have a quadruple-double on more than one occasion. It’ll be fun to see how the rest of this season finishes up for West Marshall as I expect them to get to the state tournament in Des Moines and really show how good they are with Reyerson in charge. She is going to end her high school season on a tear and plans to keep that up going into her freshman year at the University Of Northern Iowa.

Early on to start this season West Marshall high school is looking dominate in every game they have played basically, leading them to an overall 7-0 record thus far. Leading this impressive group is a player that we mention a decent amount in

. Reyerson, the UNI women’s basketball commit, is averaging 20.6 PPG, 12.9 RPG, and 6.1 APG up until now. Showing off that her game is fundamental, efficient, and well rounded. This season I anticipate her to keep up with these numbers going forward until they have to face some competition that has a player who can match up her for an entirety of a game. A major advantage that West Marshall has is that they contain a deep bench with a lot of experience so if anyone over helps on Reyerson, leaving someone open is going to hurt you just as badly in the long run. It’ll be exciting to see how the combo of Reyerson and sophomore Bella Borgos end this season but I think themselves and everyone else is hoping in a state tournament appearance followed by a championship.

has been doing it all for West Marshall high school to start this year, which everyone was anticipating but at the rate she is going right now, she could end up having one of the best individual high school seasons we have seen in a long time. Reyerson, the UNI women’s basketball commit, started off her season by scoring a school record 43 points in their opener to tip off the year while leading her team to a win. Since this break out game, her offense has continued its success as she just put up a triple-double in her last contest with 12 points, 14 boards, and 11 assists. Not to include the 7 steals she swiped and 7 blocked she tallied up on the way to another win in that contest. With stat lines like this on a consistent basis, Reyerson could become a dark horse for Players Of The Year in the state of Iowa. UNI got a great pick up with this one, a diverse player that can create an instant impact on a college floor instantly.

and the West Marshall Trojans ended their season short last year at the regional championship against Rolling-Story High School. This may of been a disappoint for Reyerson and company but that shouldn’t over shadow how well of a year they had and the foundation they set in place so that they can be a successful program in the long run. Reyerson was an overpowering force against her competition at the center position during the 21′-22′ season, averaging a double double with 19.8 PPG, 11.7 RPG, and 4.3 APG. This ranked her 2nd in overall scoring and 1st in overall rebounds in the 3A class throughout the state of Iowa. The biggest part of Reyerson’s game comes down to rebounding the basketball. Equipped with the understanding of good timing, great athleticism, an aggressive play style and high motor make her a coach’s dream at the center position. At the college level Reyerson will most likely be asked to play the forward position depending on what level she commits too but this change won’t impact her style of play or production.

Reyerson returns to West Marshall High School as the leading rebounder in 3A last season as a junior. Racking up an impressive 292 rebounds, 88 steals, 60 blocks and leading her team to the regional championship but falling short to Rolling-Story High School. The UNI commit averaged a double double last season with 19.8 PPG, and 11.7 RPG and looks to add to these numbers in the 22′-23′ season. Hopes are high for West Marshall as they return all five starters from last season along with some experience coming off the bench. It will be interesting to see if the Trojans can put it all together to win a 3A state championship.
