Arnold has the size and intangibles to be the go to player each time down the floor. A player that shows she can guard you on the block and also on the perimeter. High IQ Combo that has nice mid-range shot and handles to allow her to play as a big guard on the wing. A streaky player that once she gets going its hard to contain her. Her length allows her to get in the passing lanes and create turnovers. Can finish in the paint. Playmaker.

Talya did what she always does on Saturday, play with a huge motor and a big basketball brain. Arnold is the kind of player you have to account for on every possession whether she has the ball or not. I’m not sure anyone pursues missed shots on the offensive end as hard or as well as she does in Georgia. Whether it is with Team Elite Hubbard, North Paulding, or in an individual showcase like this one, opposing teams better know where Talya is and account for her. She is also very good slashing and finishing at the rim and is more than capable of knocking down shots on the perimeter when left unattended. She uses her elite athleticism to impact the game in a positive way on the defensive end swatting and altering shots as well as giving that same effort on the boards as the other end. Arnold is currently receiving interest from a handful of D1 and D2 schools. Her size, athleticism, and effort make her a no doubter on the next level at the right school. She is a high academic kid interested in the Dentistry field when basketball is done.

Athletic forward rebounds and uses her speed on offense to create mismatches. Can take defenders off the dribble. Can hit shots from the mid-range. Covers ground defensively, quick to read passes. Useful in the full court press.

Athletic sophomore will see an increased role in Year 2. Attacks rebounds and has the length and speed to cover ground defensively. Has traits of a ball hawk in the press. Good at trapping the ball without fouling. Does most of her scoring around the rim but has room to grow even more.

Height has not, cannot and will not ever be coached. Arnold brings plenty of it at an even six feet. She is one of two from 6A North Paulding that is coming off a 2024-25 season where the Wolfpack finished with a 26-3 record. Arnold added 10 points to ensure North Metro Elite 15U would improve its Peach Games record to 2-0. She gave her travel team a consistent presence in the interior and she also managed to draw contact and get to the free throw line. Combine that with what Arnold can do as a rebounder and she is a double-double possibility on a game-by-game basis.
