is a 6′ power forward who has proven herself to be a player worthy of recognition this season. Her work ethic and attention to detail in all aspects of the game make her an invaluable asset to any team. Jones is a fierce rebounder, defender, and scorer, consistently demonstrating her abilities at a high level. Her unwavering determination and refusal to quit on the court set her apart from other players. As a crucial member of the Norman Tigers, she has led the team in scoring on multiple occasions, providing stability at the forward position. Jones’s impressive performance has earned her a spot on the Tulsa World State All Tournament team and COAC 1st Team All Conference. Although currently uncommitted, it’s only a matter of time before Jones garners the recognition she deserves from top-level programs, as she is truly one heck of a player.

Kayla is another player that fell under the radar last season but, I am glad to write about. She has a knack for locating rebounds when shots go up, and seem to be in the right place at the right time. She has good size and when locked in, she uses it to her advantage in the paint. Kayla seals her defender well and usually has good position when she catches it, and uses her footwork to score. She is a ready shooter that hits the short corner shot and can knock down the outside shot as well. Kayla had a good AAU season and I was able to catch her on the PGH Circuit. I look for her to finish her first season at Norman High School and continue to make a name for herself this year. Kayla currently holds offers for Oklahoma Christian, Southern Nazarene, and Eastern Oklahoma State College.

Solid, Strong Post player inside. Good moves and foot work in the paint. Hustle player that will rebound and get extra possessions off the glass. Has range and can shoot the long ball on the perimeter. Relentless when attacking and can finish is different ways: floater, reverse – you name it. She made it look easy and did not stop. Kayla led the Tigers on all 3 games of the tournament.
