Kayla has been a Varsity letter-winner since her Freshman year, but this year she has taken another step and really embraced a leadership role for the Royals. Ever since I can remember, she has had a reputation of being a knockdown shooter. That extends to the free throw stripe. At this time, she is leading those with enough qualifying free throw attempts at 93% from the line. Kayla is over 850 career points and closing in on that 1000-point plateau, plus she’s averaging career highs in scoring (15.2 points per game) and rebounding (7.2 rebounds per game).
