Kaylee is a very mobile Big who excels in the passing lanes on defence and always keeps her hands active on that end of the floor. She plays hard and is a key player for the Maize South Defensive attack. She is solid on the boards and contests at the rim enough to allow her teammates to gamble at times and create turnovers against their opponents. She runs the floor well, also, so her switchability in regard to her position allows for quick recoveries, fast outlets, and a rigorous pace that will make it hard to compete against the Lady Mavericks.

Brunton impressed me the first time I saw her as a freshman. I knew she could be really good and here we are. Not only did she pick up Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League D I first team honors last season she also picked up 5A second, third or honorable mention honors by KBCA; KSHSAACovered and SIK. A steady, high motor competitor on both ends Brunton is always capable of putting up double-double numbers every night. She brings to the table a great frame, quickness, scoring and rebounding and good transition speed. She holds offers from Ottawa University, Friends University and Mid America Nazarene University.
