She is an exceptional guard, can play both guard spots. Has the handles to be able to play point but she also might’ve been the best three-point shooter I saw this weekend, if not, she was top five. Does an excellent job getting the shot off, deep range from anywhere behind the arc. She is definitely a player to watch moving forward.

Kaylee had a great junior season for Bethlehem, helping lead the Banshees to 20 wins and an appearance in the 5th Region championship game. She averaged 16.8 points per game and established herself as a true green-light shooter, making 38% of her attempts from distance. She also set career highs with 30 points and eight made threes in the All A Region game against Campbellsville. After earning All-Region honors and already holding several college offers, Kaylee should be a hot commodity this spring and summer in her final run with Kentuckiana 17U E40

Kaylee enters this season poised for a major junior season breakout! She knocked down 45 threes at over 37 percent, and with the departure of key players including McDonald’s All-American Leah Macy, Kaylee’s shooting and leadership become even more important. Bethlehem has long been the standard of the 5th Region, and Kaylee will be a driving force in keeping the Banshees on top!

Kaylee averaged 9 points and 4 rebounds per game last season, while shooting 37% from behind the arc and knocking down nearly two triples per contest for a Bethlehem team that finished 19-8. She built even more buzz this summer with Kentuckiana Hoops 16U E40, where she pulled offers from Spalding, Crowley’s Ridge, and Webster University.

McElroy and fellow Junior Loren Macy Loren Macy 5'11" | PF Bethlehem | 2027 State KY will need to step up and fill the very large scoring void left by the graduation of Leah Macy and Tessa Miles. Kaylee is a dependable three point shooter who can knock down shots from range with the best of them. If she can become a more consistent scoring threat off the bounce, Kaylee could be the new go-to scorer for Bethlehem this season. With her ability to shoot, the natural next step in her game’s evolution is for McElroy to start finishing through contact and getting to the free throw line.

Bethlehem routed Green County 71-47 for the All “A” Regional Championship on Thursday. She was named player of the game for her efforts and was selected for the All “A” Regional tournament team as well.
