The super talented sophomore leads E-Town in both scoring (28.2 points per game) and rebounding (11 per game), with splits of 52/42/80. Last week, she posted some eye-popping stat lines, including 35 points, 11 rebounds, going 5/5 from deep against Bethlehem and 38 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and two steals against Bullitt East, before that. Prior to the season, she added another Division I offer from the University of Memphis, giving her the most D1 offers in the Class of 2028. Maliah has proven she’s not just the top prospect in her class, but one of the top prospects in the entire state, and her ceiling continues to look as high as anyone’s in Kentucky. (Featured Image)

Maliah opened the game with a strong baseline drive and a smooth floater for an and-one. After a tough start, she settled in and began to find her groove, scoring through contact inside and pulling down 6 first-half rebounds. Despite struggling at the free-throw line early, she still went into halftime with 7 points and steady production on the glass. She came out of the break aggressive, attacking with a nice left-hand finish and jumping a passing lane for a steal that led to an easy deuce the other way. She really heated up offensively in the third quarter, creating contact, earning another and-one, and capping the period with a deep triple. She kept adding timely buckets the rest of the way, continuing to impose her will on offense and on the boards. Loved her competitiveness and willingness to rebound.

Maliah might be the most dynamic offensive player in Kentucky! She buried 87 threes at 40 percent, shot 49 percent from the field, and added over 78 percent from the free-throw line. Her deep range, electric shot creation, and outstanding court vision make her a matchup nightmare. She holds several college offers, including the University of Memphis, with many more on the way!

She continues to raise her stock and prove she’s one of the top 2028 prospects in the state. After averaging 22.8 points per game last season, she’s primed for an even better sophomore campaign.

One of the best playmakers at the camp, Maliah played out of position a lot on Sunday because her team wasn’t the biggest but she never complained. She just competed at a high level all afternoon. Able to score both inside and out, Courtney showed she’s an advanced playmaker with great size for her position.

Maliah showed why she’s one of the top 2028 prospects in the state and already holds four D1 offers. She plays with a lot of swagger and shot with extreme confidence from deep. She can also get buckets off the bounce and flashed her playmaking ability with a nice kick-out pass after drawing a crowd of defenders.

Maliah’s stock continues to soar after an impressive spring, picking up D1 offers from Lipscomb, Bellarmine, and Western Kentucky. She’s a talented shot-maker with multi-dimensional scoring ability, and her presence commands attention every time she steps on the floor. As a freshman, she averaged 23 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3.5 steals per game while shooting 40% from three. With the way she’s trending, it’s only a matter of time before even more offers roll in.

I watched her at the Cardinal Classic back in June, and through the EYBL livestream of the Nike Nationals in July, and was blown away by her abilities. Her game is very polished; she has excellent passing skills, along with a smooth shooting stroke from 3-point territory, and I cannot forget to mention how much of a tenaciuos defender she is. Maliah led E-Town in scoring last season with 17.4 PPG, and will look to do much of the same if not more this season.
