is an elusive guard who can blow by defenders and convert on impressive layups at the rim. With her head on a swivel, Thomas is constantly looking for open shooters and basket cutters. K’Dence is quick on her feet on the defensive end and ensures steals and stops whenever possible.

Watching Thomas play, the PG position would be absolutely accurate. She gives up nothing at 5″3″. She has the handles and court vision to break a press, get the ball to open teammates in great scoring positions, and set herself up for buckets as well. Thomas is quick and able to get around the defense to the paint to finish strong or pull-up for the mid-range. She can also break down defenses on the swing pass, hitting open threes when needed. Defensively, K’Dence uses her speed perfectly, keeping dribblers locked up and sneaking in passing lanes for steals. As a freshman she is already a great vocal leader for GW. Keep an eye out for the PG into the playoffs and into her career.

K’Dence is one of the best finishers at the rim, thriving in contact and against bigger defenders. Her crafty moves around the basket allow her to draw fouls and earn trips to the free-throw line. On defense, K’Dence refuses to back down, playing with grit and toughness that frustrates opposing players. Her relentless approach on both ends of the floor sets her apart as a difference-maker.
