Putnam City North kept Parks relatively quiet in the first quarter, but it was only a matter of time till she got it going. She started the second quarter by setting up a defender for a back cut and easy score, then she immediately forced a turnover. It was a start of a dominating final three quarters for the elite prospect. She consistently dribbled through waves of defenders, hit tough shots and looked for small moments to gain advantages. And she was money from the line in the final frame, which salted away the game.
A fun thing about watching elite prospects is watching them stack small edges. Yes, theres the ankle breaking moments and acrobatic finishes. But it’s also watching how she manipulates defender’s over aggressive when off the ball. Or how she’s the one to follow the ball after passing to a teammate and get the putback. Super skilled player, who obviously is a student of the game.

The highly decorated national recruit has had a busy early fall with in home visits and official visits. Including a recent official visit to her hometown Oklahoma Sooners. This came on the heels of visits to North Carolina, Baylor and Oklahoma State. Also in the picture are North Carolina State and Kansas, who recently had in home visits.
Parks, regarded as one of the best scorers in the nation, has summer highlights filled with her dropping buckets from across the country. Her amazing handle often leaves defenders guessing and she snatched more than her fair share of ankles while playing nationally on the Adidas Circuit with Team Lex. After a junior season where she was a walking bucket and earned Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year honors, there was not let up with her combination of silky smooth skills and quickness as a complete a scorer.

Parks recently narrowed her college choices to 15, with some of the top programs in the nation battling for her services. While Norman’s season came to a close on Saturday, it was easy to see why she’s such a high level prospect. Her handles and finshing ability are ridiculous. Even when drawing a crowd as the focus of the defensive, she has subtle dribble moves and the balance to slip through any defense. She hit some borderline circus shots around the rim, with the best one probably being one where she didn’t get continuation call after a foul. As the foul call knocked the ball loose, but she recovered so quickly and fluidly to hit a tough shot. She also played with her hair on fire on the defensive end, creating some big turnovers in the second half that kept Norman within striking distance. The future remains very bright for the nationally ranked recruit.

If coaches and other scouts weren’t voting for Keziah, they were voting for Keeley when it came to who should be at No. 1, which makes sense. She’s been there. Alas, there can only be one. There’s a reason that Parks got so many votes and still has college coaches tripping over themselves to get to Norman and see and be seen by her. She is also a shot creator. A floor general. A dedicated defender and student of the game. She has proved herself resilient and she continues to grow in the game, which is no doubt why the number of offers that she has continues to grow and grow. A three-level scorer, look for Keeley to put up big time numbers once again for the Tigers this season!

High caliber type of player in every category. High-basketball IQ that sees the floor and controls the pace of the game. She is shifty when needed but keeps it simple and effective. Shoots the ball effectively from deep and has range at the point guard position. Plays with passion and is a competitor. Great passing ability and good body control when attacking and finishing.

Defensively, she is focused and has excellent instincts, and she plays with an unbeatable competitive spirit. Even under pressure, Keeley displays great vision and always manages to find the open teammate, regardless of how many defenders are around her. Keeley finished with 10 points verse Bixby in the 6A East Area Championship.
