About Keiarra

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a point guard and shooting guard that can handle pressure anytime. I can create my own shot along with shooting anywhere on the court. I am very coachable and I demonstrate my leadership on the court as well as off the court. I can adapt to defense and adapt to roles given when necessary. I am a player that can adapt to the game's evolution because there is always room for growth.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Very outgoing, optimistic, focus on confidence, mental toughness and open to growth. I so have a silly side so it's never a dull moment around my environment.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Next Level Basketball Girls Club (2025-2026) Run-N-Gun Girls Basketball Club (2025) National Honor Society Award (2025)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My leadership is based on lead by example, encourage my teammates and focus on a common goal. Communication is key and we all need to communicate in order to all be on the same page. Resilience is most important in my leadership in order to develop confidence and the ability to handle adversity.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced a Pars Defect last season which started symptoms in July 2024 but wasn't diagnosed until March 2025 so dealt with the injury during cross country and basketball season. I also suffered a Grade 2 hip strain that ended my cross country season early this year and had to attended physical therapy but my injuries taught me significally on mental toughness, determination and patience.

What type of college are you looking for?

College within a 8 hour drive from my hometown, Montezuma Creek, UT.

Whitehorse is fortunate to have a leader like Keiarra anchoring its lineup. Her athleticism far exceeds what you typically see at this classification, and once the high school season wraps up, she’ll be testing herself with Utah NLB against elite competition at her level. Right now, she leads the state in scoring at over 25 points per game, showcasing her ability to take over games from anywhere on the floor. That explosiveness separates her in 1A play, and with another year still ahead of her, Keiarra will continue to be the engine that drives Whitehorse’s title hopes.
