She played a huge part in Portsmouth winning their second consecutive state championship. In the two games that I’ve seen this year, Woods has put together a big-time performance. Back in January, she put on a show at Hiland. Then in the state finals, she was the best player on the floor, leading them to gold. Electrifying quick, can explode to the rim and is difficult to stop. Her stock has risen as she jumps all the way up to number 25 in our latest rankings. 

Don’t give KeKe an ounce of room to work with, because she will take off and blow right past you!  She has so many moves to choose from her pocket- such a difficult assignment to guard with her ultra light feet and handles!  What a performance for the MVP of the game- 26 points, 11-11 FG, 8 Reb, 5 ST! Keke Woods! Keke Woods! That is all we could hear as Keke stole the show in Portsmouth’s win over Granville! Nothing could stop Keke as she led the whole 2026 Classic In The Country Challenge in scoring with 32 points! If that wasn’t impressive enough, it was her efficiency that was off the charts! Woods finished 3/3 from deep and shot an astonishing 13/18 overall from the field! No one could guard her or come close to matching the energy she played with on both ends of the floor! Defensively, she was a bullet all game jumping the passing lanes forcing turnovers in the backcourt for the Trojans! This was certainly a coming out party for the 5’6″ combo guard who consistently reminded us all game that size is just a number as she filled up the box score! I’m very confident that she impressed many college coaches with her overall performance at the 2026 Classic In The Country Challenge!

While Portsmouth was winning a state championship last year, Keke was growing her wings and becoming one of the most underrated kids in Ohio. This electric guard was a key factor in their state title run, has good range and an excellent first step to the rim, allowing her to finish on either side. The coaches need to definitely take note of this young lady as she moves up to number 37.

Woods is a serious pest defensively at the top of the key! Because of her high energy D, this often ignites the team in steals and fast break points, on top of frustrating opponents from setting up their offense. (Below on defense)

Keke Woods has stunning stop on the dime moves with the ball- The child has jet feet and finds ways to the basket, easily splitting the defense. She impacts the game big, particularly on fast breaks, tempo of the game, and taking care of the basketball.

Keke will be coming in hot in the top 50 players in the rankings. When it comes to getting steals and getting the job done on defense this girl does just that. With her quickness and long arms, it helps her get a lot of deflections and transitions points. She has excellent help side and boxes out any defender when a shot goes up, she always has a body on someone. Handles the ball even under pressure and keeps good body composure even going up to the rim to score, she attacks the gaps and has a nice mid-range jumper.
