I look for her to make a nice solid impact as she moves over to Portsmouth, the two time defending state champions. She’s quick and agile for a guard, able to create shots and knock down the long range perimeter shot. She has outstanding handles, and she will help you at both ends of the floor.

Ava played with strength and confidence, attacking defenders and finishing through contact. She showed the ability to contribute across multiple positions and is continuing to expand her game beyond just scoring. With her physicality and versatility, she’s trending toward becoming a complete player.

I am familiar with this guard from Ohio with good court savvy, great hands and her quickness forces mistakes. Good quarterback on the floor, she can make things happen for her team.  Was impressed with her during the high school season last year, she’s a hidden gem in Ohio! 

Ava can make a three-pointer with or without a hand in her face, making her an impressive guard. She is a good-sized player with amazing handles and smooth movements with the ball that she exploits to slip past opponents and score with a deft finish inside. Ava has a lot of energy to her, plays with flare, contributes to defense, and does what she needs to do to get the win for her team.

Ava is an impressive guard with the ability to knock down a three. She took key shots in the first quarter, and even though she did not knock them down early in this game, she’s very capable as she showed later with a double-figure performance.  Hit a huge bank three point to bring Fairland back to within two.  She showed out!! Her game will just go up from here!

Impressed with the pace she plays with. Good feel for the game. Displayed her ability to score from all three-levels. Got to her spots and scored in multitude of ways. Really brought the intensity and was very disruptive on the defensive end, as she was all over the court. Knocked down big buckets in key moments in both games including the game-winning bucket in Game 1.

She is an extremely skilled guard with good size along with tremendous handles and dribble moves that she uses to get past defenders to score with a crafty finish inside. Ava plays with flare, makes an impact on defense, has a ton of potential, and is very fun to watch.
