Kendall was an important contributor for Dexter all season and she competed hard against an elite Belleville squad on Monday. Kendall worked hard on defense and knocked down two triples for the Dreds. One of my favorite moments from the game happened when Kendall casually buried a wing three, while “Crazy Train” blasted on the loudspeakers 15 seconds into the third quarter. Her versatility, competitive edge, and contributions on both ends will be a great addition to a college program.

Kendall displayed toughness, confidence, and abilities that made her an impressive senior to watch at the LBI Mitten Opening on Sunday. She used low sweeps, inside-out dribbles, and crossovers to split defenders multiple times, then earned free throws by driving hard through contact. Kendall converted shots from the charity stripe, knocked down a smooth elbow jumper, buried clutch 3s late in the game, and aggressively doubled the low post to cause a held ball. Kendall is going to be a major contributor to a scrappy Dexter team and I’m excited to see her compete again this winter.
