Standfest led her team to the Quarterfinals last season where they fell to State Champs Hemlock. She was a 2nd team selection on the Associated Press All-State Team. She is committed to Michigan Tech University. Standfest will continue stuffing the stat sheet and have a big Senior season.

I’ve always been very high this Michigan Tech commit’s game. Standfest showed that the Huskies landed a terrific prospect. She averaged about 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 steals per game at the event. That’s the Standfest way, contributing at a high level in so many different ways.

Standfest was very impressive at Michigan’s Main Event. I really liked her ability to create as well as find lanes to the rim. Standfest was always under control, showing elite offensive footwork. She was incredibly patient and effective when playing off 2 feet in and near the paint. This created looks at the rim and passing lanes to her teammates.

I don’t think enough people realize exactly how good Standfest has been this season. To pat myself on the back a bit, I saw it coming at the PGH Top 250. She was an absolute playmaker. All high school season, Standfest has been a legitimate triple-double threat.

Standfest has been standing out since the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 in the early fall. She’s been one of the most consistent high output players in the state this season. That didn’t change in the regional finals where she led her team to a win with a 26 point and 12 rebound double-double.

I’ve been preaching about Standfest’s play since about October and there’s no stopping now. She’s currently averaging a double-double in points and rebounds. The best thing is, she’s just shy of 5 assists per game and is also picking up a handful of steals every game as well.

Standfest, in my opinion was one of the most impressive players at the Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Top 250. It was clear during this game that she’s continuing her run of excellent basketball. Standfest showed strong hands on the glass and her speed down the court with the ball in her hands was impressive. She attacked the lane of the bounce and showed a pretty crossover move that created a lane to the rim. Standfest also showed nice touch with her finishes at the bucket.
