Kennedy established her presence inside, giving the Eagles an advantage during their Regional Semifinal victory vs. South Lyon. Kennedy had some nagging injuries during the travel season and she appears to be back to full strength early in the season for the Eagles. Kennedy was the most impactful player for Hartland against a top 20 opponent last weekend, which resulted in victory for her team. Her rebounding presence, height, and finishing inside give her the potential to play at the next level. Kennedy earned a rankings boost as a result of her performances.

Kennedy converted the shot heard around the gym at the Swartz Showcase on Saturday. With seconds remaining, she fought her way into position under the basket to secure an offensive rebound and then converted a contested reverse layup and-one at the buzzer to deliver the Eagles a 38-36 victory. Kennedy won the interior battle, scoring several putbacks, layups, and another and-one earlier in the game. She led Hartland with 13 points and earned All-Showcase First Team Honors.
