Brinley turned heads at the Northwood Elite Camp with her ability to create off the dribble and make plays at both ends of the floor. During 3-on-3 action, she used her quickness to blow by her defender and finish at the basket. That attacking mentality carried over into 5-on-5 play, where Brinley consistently got downhill and put pressure on the defense with her tight ball-handling. She also did a great job pushing the pace with her head up, finding teammates with well-timed passes in transition. On the defensive end, Brinley competed with toughness and made it difficult for opposing guards to get comfortable. Her combination of ball skills, playmaking, and defensive intensity made her a guard who consistently stood out throughout the camp.

Brinley turned in an impressive all-around effort that separated her as one of the top court generals on the floor during GVSU Elite Camp. Her scrappy defense, passing vision, shifty ball-handling speed and control, footwork, efficiency around the basket, and accuracy from beyond the arc were staples to her game. Brin hit a silky smooth step-back three off the bounce and added a deep wing three off the hop. She faked out a defender in the paint using a show-fake spin combo move to score a layup with style and went by with a dribble burst for a drive-by bucket. Brinley swiped the ball way in the half-court and immediately fired a laser pass up the court to create a transition scoring opportunity. She swiped the ball away again and took it right to the basket for a fast break finish. Brinley will be the leader for Hartland’s backcourt again this season, and she’s a prospect who should have some offers on the table at this point.

Brin is a KLAA West All-Conference Select honoree, and she’s been outstanding for Hartland as a sophomore. She’s shined in her role as a go-to scorer and primary ball-handler. Brin is a lethal three-point shooter who can create space in a phonebooth with her shifty crossover dribbles. She’s an excellent passer, scrappy defender, and skilled finisher at the rim.

Brinley has faced some daunting matchups to start the season and consistently met the challenge. Her poise under pressure, pinpoint three-point accuracy, scrappy defense, court vision, and elusive ball-handling makes her a dynamic point guard prospect. Brinley contributes in every statistical category and is an exciting playmaker to watch in the KLAA West.

Brinley put on a dazzling display with her shifty crossover combinations, scrappy defense, graceful finishes, and confident three-point shooting. She drove down the lane with a burst, faked a pass, and used a swift spin move to score the floater. Brinley kept excellent defensive positioning to force missed shots, caused deflections with her active hands, pressured the ball and stripped it away clean, and showed great anticipation to pick off passes. Brinley used a filthy step-back crossover dribble to bury a deep wing three and another triple up top. She keeps her feet set and maintains good balance to shoot accurately on the catch or off the bounce. Brinley attacked hard downhill used a fake-pass to shift the defender’s balance and finished with excellent body control. She has a tight handle of the ball and used an effective double-low crossover dribble to create driving lanes. Brinley converted free throws at the line and tied for the team high with 16 points.

Neuer handled full-court pressure well, keeping her eyes up to consistently find open teammates. With smooth dribble moves, she created the space she needed to attack and get to the hoop, showing strong control and confidence with the ball in her hands.

Brin delivered a fantastic All-Conference freshman season for the Eagles and she stepped up in their Regional semifinal against South Lyon. She dropped in two smooth floaters in the paint, her second gave Hartland momentum to end the second quarter. Brinley sank a smooth triple and converted seven crucial free throws to help Hartland secure a 45-39 win. She led Hartland with 14 points.

Brinley had one of the best shooting performances of the season when she buried 8 of 10 from 3-point range against Linden earlier in the season, scoring 28 points in the game. Brinley is an elusive ball handler who can finish tough layups at the rim and find teammates for assists. Hartland is 6-0 to start the season and Brinley has been an immediate difference-maker for the Eagles.
