is one of the most productive and dominant players in the country, regardless of class, and her numbers fully back it up. The 6-1 junior guard/wing out of Monroe averaged an eye-popping 30.6 points, 12.0 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 4.0 steals and 2.6 blocks per game during the 2025–26 season, leading the state of Georgia in scoring while also ranking among national leaders in double-doubles with 29. Acree’s impact goes far beyond scoring—she is a true offensive engine who can initiate offense, push tempo and create for others while still getting buckets at all three levels. She thrives attacking downhill and in transition, constantly putting pressure on defenses, but also shows the ability to operate in the half court as a playmaker. Her physicality and instincts make her an elite rebounder from the guard position, and defensively she is just as disruptive, using her length and motor to rack up steals and blocks while guarding multiple positions. Acree has also proven she can deliver in big moments, including a 48-point playoff performance, and has built a national profile as a Top 20 prospect in her class with 25+ Division I offers. With her combination of size, versatility, production and relentless motor, she’s not just a stat-sheet stuffer—she’s a true system player who can carry a team on both ends of the floor.

Acree, like Reckley will have pretty much have choice of almost any college in the country to play when she graduates next year. Maybe it’s because she has played on a loaded FBC roster or maybe because she plays in South Georgia, but I believe she is still underrated nationally. She is a 6′ PG whose skills are up there with the elite of the elite in America, ball-handling, passing, and shooting. What makes her impossible to defend with one player is her size and length in combination with said skills. KJ is an excellent three point shooter far beyond the line. She gets the to the basket at ease and scores at will, over and around defenders and through contact. Her midrange game is excellent as it is also apart of her regular offensive package. She does a phenomenal job creating space with the dribble to get shots off. KJ struggled in the first half against an excellent Bob Jones in the first half at She Got Game, before putting on a show with offensive arsenal in the second half with a dozen power four schools watching on, including the Iowa head coach. A school that has offered KJ, which is very rare as Iowa has recruited mostly players in their region over recent years. Expect to see another showdown next year as she and Reckley both looked excellent in their meeting gin the playoffs this season.

KJ started the game off with purpose and confidence on the ball pushing the pace and looking to find open teammates for easy baskets. She did a nice job facilitating before looking for her own shot. When she did she was very impressive and effective getting to the midrange and paint and burying shots in traffic from the spots she loves. Acree has the skill and ability to play the point guard position in college and she looked very comfortable and confident in that role early. As the game went on, Acree had to score to keep her team in the game and she did for a while finishing the game with 20 points. I expect her stock and recruitment to ascend nationally as she is featured and plays on the Puma circuit her last AAU Spring and Summer.

KJ has had some monster games scoring the ball this season for Monroe. At 6′ she almost impossible to guard as she is deadly shooting the ball from the perimeter as well as slashing to the basket and finishing with either hand with ease. The best teams Monroe has faced (including Bob Jones) could not hold Acree down for an entire game. She is too big, too athletic, and way too skilled for one person to try and guard. She is also electric with the basketball on the fast break. As defenses throw everything they can to try and slow her down, Acree has relied on the play of

and freshman Maleyah Hines, both of whom are division one prospects themselves. Taylor has drawn the interest of and offers from in state schools like West Georgia and Mercer. Hines could be a top 5 player in the state in her class soon. She could find herself being recruited by schools nationally like Acree.

KJ was totally dominant in the first round for Monroe against East Hall. She finished the game with an incredible, video game-like stat line of 48 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, seven steals, and three blocks. It was an onslaught from the jump and Acree asserted herself early and often. She terrorized the Lady Viking guards on the press with her length and quickness on the ball and jumping into the passing lane and turning interceptions into points. When Monroe was on offensive Acree attacked the basket relentlessly and scored a lot of points finishing at the rim and making free throws. She also showed her ability to shoot the ball from deep. Something she does as well as attacking the rim. There is not a better scorer in Georgia than KJ Acree in any classification.

After a slow start to the game, KJ put on a quite an offensive display during a stretch in the second half. In just a couple of minutes, Acree scored on all three levels in impressive fashion with several Power Four schools looking on including the Iowa women’s head basketball coach. On one play Acree dazzled on the baseline with her ball handling before slashing to the basket and finishing smoothly at the rim. One of the next few plays down, she took on a highly rated ’28 prospect in an isolation situation, and again used her ball handling to create space before rising up and knocking down a long jump shot. Acree is one of the most exciting prospects to come out of the state of Georgia in a very long time.

Acree, one of the best Juniors in the state and the country, is currently averaging 30.2 points per game and 12.7 rebounds per game for the Lady Tornadoes. She went off in a game against Terrell County earlier in the year scoring 44 points. Acree can score inside and out and at six foot tall is a matchup nightmare against most teams. Acree is an exceptional rebounder on the offense end leading to easy second chance points. Acree is a very capable shooter from three point range.
