Herrick caught my attention early like her teammate Dobson watching Tennessee United play at the She Got Game the first tournament of the season. I saw a blur come from the elbow and then a player take off and sky for a rebound on the opposite side of the rim. Herrick showed tremendous leaping ability on that play and good athleticism throughout the game slashing and cutting on offense and getting up in the ball handlers’ space as well as passing lanes on defense. She played almost 25 minutes a game for state champion Creekview. Herrick can also really shoot the ball from deep. She is the kind of player every coach wants on their team, including her dad who she plays for at Creekview.
