Grosse Ile was defeated by late game heroics, but Wright had no reason to hang her head in the tough loss. She was very active all over the floor and always seemed to be around the ball or in position to make a play. Wright seemed to rebound well on the weakside of the shot and was able to find a couple good looks or put backs because of it. Her best play of the night may have been when she got stopped on her way to the rim, but used her pivot foot to clear space and ended up with a layup. Wright showed strong hands on a catch as a cutter and had a pretty pass across the paint that turned into an assist.
