represented West Texas Prep, a makeshift team of elite prospects in the Borderland area, and stood out as their top player. She was clinical from the 3-point line, defended at a high level, and showcased her elite playmaking and vision in transition sequences. If Mojica represented a Borderland high school, you could easily make the argument she would be the top prospect. Saturday at the Jamboree was further proof of that.

Mojica is one the deadliest shooters in New Mexico regardless of class and region. In 2023-24, Mojica became the Eagles All-Time Leader in Three-Pointers Made (130+).
The 5’6″ CG has a smooth stroke that extends to 22 feet. Furthermore, Nakia has great mechanics, keeps her hands ready in the shooting pocket and does a great job of staying balanced when rising up.
In late July (7/25/24), Mojica was offered by Cottey College, a NAIA program located in Nevada, MO.

Mojica is one of the deadliest sharpshooters in the State and the current record holder for 3PM at Hobbs. Nakia has totaled 130+ 3-Pointers to this point, providing the Lady Eagles with much needed spacing out on the perimeter.
The 5’6″ CG averaged 10.3 points per game during the 2024 State Tournament and was offered by New Mexico Highlands University (NMHU) back in April. The Cowgirls are a Division II program, located in Las Vegas, N.M.
