The first time I saw Kyra was opening weekend in the Fall of 2023, and she was playing as a Freshman for a very talented South Bend Washington team. She is long, fluid, and smooth as an athlete, and she has a little bounce to her as well. She’s one of those prospects who fits a lot of college programs because, while she isn’t elite at any one thing, she’s good at most things, so her versatility and ability to play multiple roles/positions stands out. She can operate an offense, create and score or facilitate, and she shoots it well enough to keep defenses honest. She’s also an intense, gritty defender at times.

Kyra has always been a nice, talented, skillful guard who plays with versatility. She spent the last two years gaining great experience in South Bend Washington’s lineup. She can now take that to the Class 2A level and really help the Whitko Wildcats with playmaking and scoring. She has an athletic frame, nice length, speed, quickness, and some bounce. More importantly, she is a creative player who can play some on the ball, plus I feel like she has the potential to become an elite defender at the Class 2A level.

I have seen Kyra a number of times over the past couple of years, and I feel like she’s someone in this 2027 class who gets a little overlooked. She is a really nice, gliding athlete, who does have quick feet and good change-of-direction ability. She has gotten stronger, plus she has nice length. She can handle and create offense, she can knock down an open jumper, and she has developed into a highly effective on-ball defender.
