Landry Allen Landry Allen 6'3" | C Tuttle | 2023 State OK is an impressive basketball player with a towering 6-foot 3-inch frame and an extensive wingspan that make her a force on the court. Her defensive skills are particularly noteworthy, as she is an excellent rim protector and takes pride in defending and rebounding. In the post, her footwork is strong, and she can finish with a nice touch over both shoulders. Additionally, Landry has a reliable mid-range jumper and is a willing passer. With her skills and potential, it’s no surprise that she has committed to the University of Oklahoma for the fall of 2023. Standing at 6-foot 3-inches, Landry stands out in most gyms she enters. Her length gives her the advantage but what she does with it makes her exceptional. In the post she is able to play with her back to the basket and score over either shoulder. Her mid-range shot is good and she can stretch the floor and hit the 3-ball consistently. She does a great job of using her length and keeping the ball up and away from the defense. It doesn’t matter how close they are, she is able to rise up above the defense and make shots with her quick release. I love her fadeaway jumper in the mid post and she plays strong in the paint. Defensively she shows quick instincts by playing the passing lane and protecting the rim very well. Landry is another high-level player that has decided to stay local and is committed to the University of Oklahoma, and will attend in the Fall of 2023.
