After making the move over to Green high school, Laney continues to be a very productive player, at both ends of the floor. Offensively, she has a strong frame and is an excellent pick and role player where she can see her opponent on the low block, catch and score. She is a strong, physical kid who can take care of business at the rim.

Laney is a good strong, physical presence under the boards, she has a strong frame which allows her to not only rebound the ball well at both ends, she also has a nice soft touch at the rim and is able to finish. Defensively she causes problems in the paint, a good wingspan, which has allows her to block shots at a high rate, also sees the game in advance, able to come up with the steal and push the ball.

She’s a true post player who gets the job done in the paint. She uses her strong body to make a strong power move around the rim to score, uses the glass and has a nice drop step to her. As a post player she can handle the ball like a guard and also run the floor in transition. She can kick the ball out to an open guard if she doesn’t have a good shot, has strong help side and gets a lot of deflections with her long arms.
