Borsenik is an excellent forward that has an impressive skill set at the 4. She has made herself a threat to score from the rim to beyond the arc. Borsenik is a powerful player that can physically dominate at the rim. That’s not her entire game though. I’ve seen the Concordia commit go toe-to-toe with some elite shooters in a 3 point contest at a fall showcase.

The Concordia commit is starting her senior season off in dominating form. Her Hemlock team is off to a 5-2 start, and Borsenik is averaging a double-double of 12.3 points and 10 rebounds a game. The rim protector is also averaging just under two blocks a game.

Borsenik’s ability to shoot will continue to cause problems for opponents this high school season, like it has for years now. She’s a tough match up with her ability to step outside and stretch the floor. I really think that this will be a transferable advantage when she takes her talents to CUAA.

Borsenik definitely showed off her ability to hit the triple in the 3 point contest. If the rim would have been just a bit kinder, she could have taken home the title. She’s going to be a terrific multi level scorer this season, that’s for sure. She was excellent in Lightning too and was a part of a string of makes that topped 10 straight.

Borsenik has had a hot hand all the way through the playoffs so far. Hemlock needed her A game against a very talented Lake City team, and they got it. She paced her squad with a team high 17 points in a 60-56 overtime win.
