About Lauren
Expert Analysis
Bret Swanson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Crosland feeds off energy and effort from the wing position. Lauren can knockdown shots from the perimeter. She plays great in the passing lanes collecting a few deflections every game it seems. Lauren is extremely coachable and really brings a great attitude to the floor. Crosland chimes in at #32 this time around after being #41 back in June.

Crosland is constantly all over the floor with her play. She plays so active and really swarms the ball on the defensive end of the floor. Crosland a wing player has good length and athleticism to create her own shot at times. She likes to slash to the cup or simply pop a jumper from the perimeter. Lauren has good range out to the three-point line.

Game planning for how to contain Crosland often leaves opposing coaches and teams at a crossroads. One of the signature players of last season’s Spring Valley rendition under coach Megan Assey that advanced to the Upper State 5A final, do not overlook this rising junior. She has no problems attempting and making her 3-point attempts. She is one of the taller players that is on the Vikings roster and her 5-foot-9 frame combined with her length makes her a force to be reckoned with in the rebounding game (and with defense overall). Crosland also has volleyball experience throughout her time at Spring Valley.
