Lauren applied pressure to steal the ball away from ball handlers and attacked down the baseline on a drive before dishing an accurate left handed pass to an open teammate.

Lauren is a high-energy, tough-nosed point guard prospect who plays with urgency. She is skilled with the ball, she has good court vision, and she can knock down shots when needed. She is an effortful defender, plus she is a vocal leader who is always engaged in the action, whether she’s in the game or not.

Lauren is somewhat of a hidden gem in Northern Indiana, but for good reason. She moved in last year from the Carolinas, plus she plays for an Illinois grassroots team. She possesses really nice length, wiry strength, and she’s a very quick, fluid, and smooth prospect who is good with the basketball. She can handle and pass it, plus she’s a productive defender. She’s okay shooting it outside, but as that becomes more consistent, I think she might even draw some Division-I onlookers.
