The quick guard had an impressive high school season leading her team to the 3A state championship. This summer she will be playing for the Alabama Southern Starz. She has great court vision, setting up her teammates for success by drawing in defenders and then dishing the ball out. She shoots the three well with a quick release but can also get to the rim when necessary. Her game should draw the attention of college coaches soon enough.

Leah Childress Leah Childress 5'6" | SG Lauderdale County | 2025 State AL is a flat out floor general. She’s an elite ball handler who can really break down pressure. Childress is excellent at setting up her teammates as well as putting them in positions to score. When need be, Childress has no problem going and getting a bucket on her own. Childress is one of those players who makes everyone around her better just by being out on the floor.
