The rising Timberwolves saw their trip to the 5A state tournament come to an abrupt halt when they were dispatched by Andover. After losing only one senior the team I expect the team to return and at a higher seed. Unruh led the team in scoring (11.8) and steals (2.8) on the way to earning KSHSAACovered 5A honorable mention honors and, for the second time, Eastern Kansas League honorable mention. There is a lot to like about her game. She has active hands and is a good half court defenders. Unruh has solid speed with the ball, good transition vision and an ability to finish challenged shots with either hand through contact.
