I was very impressed with Lily all weekend. As a freshman playing up with sophomores this summer, she never looked out of place and consistently played with poise and confidence. More than anything, it felt like she was in control of the action whenever she was on the floor. She was rarely quiet on either end and brought a strong presence throughout the weekend. One thing I especially value in point guards is communication, and Lily stood out in that area with how vocal and engaged she was. With the ball in her hands, she attacked openings well and made quality passing reads when extra defenders committed to her. Off the ball, she also showed her value as a floor spacer by confidently taking — and knocking down — multiple threes. She is definitely a player, and I’m looking forward to following her growth throughout the summer.
