About Lola

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a great all around player who adjusts to any spot a coach puts me in. I listen to my coaches and do my best to improve my technique when instructed by a coach. I am improving on off the dribble shots and creating play making possibilities for myself.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a kind and funny teen who will undoubtedly focus when it is time to play or practice. I will always play to be the best player on the court, with court awareness and unselfishness. I keep my composure and try to make sure my demeanor stays positive.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was previously honored the service award from my grade school as well as the Christian attitude award 3 times. I have had straight A’s for the past 3 years and would like to do the same this year. I am also interested in Roncalli’s media network and service clubs.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I feel as if my leadership skills have improved greatly. I have always believed in unselfishness and teamwork as well as persistence and grit when I learned about those traits. In order to do my best I always need to be determined, focused, and trusting/believing in the skills i possess.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Grade school and high school basketball have shown me the two sides of basketball. In grade school I was always looking to score and was depended on by my teammates. In high school I have learned to take a step back and know I may not be the leading scorer this year, but have many other opportunities or factors I can contribute in.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would love to be part of a college community where I am surrounded by peers who are hardworking and determined but can have a great time whenever. If I play college basketball I would want to be surrounded by players who I can grow a positive relationship with.
