Now, don’t let her height fool you; she plays with a level of intensity that players in this age group rarely possess, and she has elite lateral quickness that allows her to navigate the court effortlessly.

What truly separates Lylah from her peers is her discipline: she can pressure the ball for 94 feet without fouling.  She is the REAL DEAL on defense.  During one possession, I watched her defend her opponent for 92 feet, forcing a turnover that left me stunned; I couldn’t believe it.  Her motor and tenacious on-ball defense remind me of Raven Johnson, a South Carolina Gamecock alum and current Indiana Fever rookie. While she is a natural fit at the 2 or 3 in high school, expanding her offensive guard skills will make her a dominant two-way threat.
