Highlands Ranch was a team that was able to take the state by storm this past season making it to the Great 8 after what many thought would be a down year. An underrated part of the team’s success was the play of Maddie Groth Maddie Groth 6'0" | SF Highlands Ranch | 2023 State CO . She was able to master her role in the offense by making timely reads and getting easy baskets at the rim. Defensively her ability to contest shots at the rim and secure rebounds limited teams to one possession and she shined in an X-factor role.
