Marsaa’s profile across South Carolina has only grown since her first season playing at the high school varsity level which was as an eighth grader. She would compete in 24 games in 2025-26 for 5A Division 1 Summerville while putting up career numbers in her sophomore campaign with the Green Wave. Marsaa averaged 10.9 points, 3.8 steals and 2.8 rebounds per game last season. During the May live period, Marsaa participated at the Live at LakePoint event in Georgia. She was one of two sophomores on last season’s Green Wave team. With longtime coach Calvin Davis stepping down from his head coaching position at Summerville, there is much intrigue as to who will be calling the plays at the Fire House.

was tough on defense grabbing the steal and exploding the other end to get some points. She was picking the pocket of her opponents or intercepting the pass. She had a nice crossover move to create some space and put up her shot. She ran the floor well being ready for the pass and shot in transition. She was being aggressive attacking the basket making her own shots and making the right pass to her teammates for some points.

was using her length to cause some problems on defense deflecting the pass and making her moves to get to the basket on the other end. She knew when to time and make the perfect pass to hit her teammate in stride on the way to the basket. She was thinking a couple steps ahead of her opponents being able to make the right play for her team.

With 5A Division 1 Summerville graduating virtually its entire core from last season’s version that qualified for state, Marsaa is setting herself up nicely to be a featured player for coach Calvin Davis’ team the next few seasons. Mosch Ball was matched up against Always 100 Gold Select Icon 2028 in the latter portion of play at Roses Friday. Making plays in the transition game is another positive element to her game as is coming away with steals as a skilled defender. Marsaa first played at the varsity level with the Green Wave two years ago as an eighth grader.

Marsaa was part of a Summerville team that advanced to the 5A Division 1 championship game last season. With so much of the scoring firepower from last season’s Summerville team having graduated, there is a good chance that Marsaa could be a focal point for coach Calvin Davis’ team. The Green Wave sophomore is a product of the Mosch Ball AAU program. She is a southpaw who understands what plays to run in response to an opposing team’s defensive set. Passing ability, scoring and overall playmaking are among the many positives to her game. Marsaa looks to continue the winning ways that the Fire House faithful have come accustomed to.

Marsaa was previously in an article from the event this weekend. Madelyn plays the game with a lot of poise out top and never seems to rush anything. The left-handed guard from Summerville played great minutes last year at the varsity level. She understands on how to make reads and find the open teammate. Madelyn was the MVP of her squad this past weekend.
