Sanders led her Renaissance team to the Breslin last season, where they fell in the Semi-Finals to Rockford and finished with a 24-2 record. She was a 1st-team All-State selection for the Associated Press averaging 11 PPG. I expect big things for Sanders during her Senior season, and she could be in the running for Division 1 Player of the Year.
The George Washington University commit was a 1st-team Associated Press All-State selection a season ago. Reynolds will continue to put up big numbers and hope to give her team a chance at a postseason run. You will see her name in the running for Miss Basketball. She could also be the Division 1 Player of the Year if she continues her stellar play. I expect a big Senior season!
Baker and her Lowell team had a tough draw facing Rockford in Districts, but they had a successful season, finishing 18-7. The Murray State commit was a 1st-team Associated Press All-State selection last season. She can fill the stat sheet on any given night, and could be in the running for Miss Basketball.
Highlights
The Butler commit is a do-it-all guard who will also be in the conversation of Miss Basketball. She was 1st-team All-State Associated Press a season ago and led her team to the Regional Finals, where they fell to State Champs Rockford. She averaged 21 PPG and 9 RPG and is a player that makes those around her better.
One half of the Davis twins that led her team back to Breslin last season, where they fell to Rockford in the Finals. The Georgia commit was a 1st-team All-State selection in the Associated Press and will be in the conversation of Miss Basketball and the Division 1 Player of the Year. She gets it done on both ends of the court and I see a big Senior season coming.
One half of the Davis twins that led her team back to Breslin last season, where they fell to Rockford in the Finals. The Georgia commit was a 1st-team All-State selection in the Associated Press and will be in the conversation of Miss Basketball. She led her team in rebounding and blocks last season and I’m sure big numbers will continue her Senior season.
The Central Michigan commit led her team to the Breslin last season, where they fell to West Bloomfield in the Semis. She is a smooth guard that was 1st-Team All-State for the Associated Press last season. Morson is another player I think will be considered for Miss Basketball if she continues to put up the big numbers she has in the past.
Gray, a multi-sport athlete, chose to play volleyball for the Indiana Hoosiers over multiple Division 1 basketball offers. She led her team to a District Championship and a 23-2 last season while earning a spot on the 2nd-team Associated Press All-State team. She has already broke the school record for rebounds in a season. She is a walking double-double and I see that continuing her Junior season.
Anderson led her team to the Regional Finals last season. The Detroit Mercy commit averaged 12.3 PPG and 3.4 APG giving her a nod of the 2nd-team Associated Press All-State team. She will continue to run the show for her Detroit Cass Tech team this season, and I see a big Senior season in the making.
Wypych was the only Sophomore on the BCAM Best of the “Best” last season while leading her team to a State Championship. During the State Finals, she played the entire game and scored 20 points, showing great dominance. She has a list of Division 1 offers and the list will continue to grow.
The Grand Valley State commit led her team to a Conference and District Championship, and a 21-2 record last season. She was a 2nd-team Associated Press All- State selection. She will continue to put up big numbers and help her team make it deeper in the postseason.
