About Magdalena

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I bring energy and hustle, I move myself with or without the ball well, I move the ball, I’m the first one up and down the court, I have a strong game IQ so I can anticipate and understand plays , I’m a strong passer and shooter, I communicate effectively, I’m aggressive and fearless

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a true team player, this is a team sport, we need use all 5 players, and we need to work as one unit. I try me best to keep everyone focused and working together by always talking, communicating, and staying positive. Positivity is one of my biggest strengths

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

FCA, SHOUT, Student Govt, I hope to get more involved in HS

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have played travel softball for over 7 years, in that time I’ve stepped up as a leader on and off the field. Same with basketball. In both sports I lead stretches and warmups, the first to get up cheer or to greet my teammates. I have learned great sportsmanship skills over the years and try to model that for my teammates

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was recently diagnosed with ADHD so my family and I are learning the ins and outs of it. I get good grades but I struggle with focus and distractions in the classroom and in other places of my life. Basketball is where I feel my best and focus then most, but in helping my adhd I hope to become a better player

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal is to find the right fit for me, I hope to find a team where the coaches and teammates feel like family, where they want ME not just another player
