When I first had the chance to see Maggie Tynan Maggie Tynan 6'3" | C Marian | 2024 State NE this summer I was impressed. She had size, ambitious, and great coordination with the ball in her hands. Her team got her the rock in the right spots most of the possessions so that she didn’t have to put it on the floor and she was a killer because of that. Her efficiency was off the charts and it was continued the entire tournament. From this weekend alone I could have told you that Tynan was a college level player. You can’t teach height and when you mix it in along with touch/skill of the game, that’s a great recipe for success at the next level. She was definitely a player that has been a Stock-Riser these past few seasons and I can’t wait to see where she ends up, at the end of her high school career.

Maggie Tynan Maggie Tynan 6'3" | C Marian | 2024 State NE was very good when I saw her compete earlier this spring in Council Bluffs. She is tall and works hard to play her size. A major problem some kids have growing up is not playing “their size” or understanding how big they truly are compared to others around them. This is not a problem with Tynan. She creates space early, accepts contact, and works off of what the defensive gives her. Not to mention that she is a monster on the boards and a player that most opponents have to worry about on offense, once they beat their initial defender. I’m expecting a big year this winter out of Tynan at Marian high school. With all the skills she possesses mixed with her height, she should clean up her competition.
