I love when players make me look smart. I warned everyone that she was going to shoot and score in https://prepgirlshoops.com/2024/04/who-goes-together-on-national-peanut-butter-and-jelly-day/ , and what do you know, she did just that. In her first outing for Macon 6 Basketball Academy Allen hit 10 triples while connecting at a high percentage. She averaged 15.5 points per game in an event loaded with talent.

showed why she is an outstanding 2025 prospect Friday at SkillCase. She scored on a strong drive and finish during the 1 v 1 segment and hit a mid-range pull up jumper from a full speed dribble. Makayla reads the defense well and sees open teammates, while having the strong passing skills to get them the ball. She kept great defensive positioning to stop a driver, causing them to travel. Makayla is a knock down 3 point shooter with excellent form and balance. She is going to be a prospect to watch for Macon Academy this spring.

Allen can be found listed as a combo guard, but I can really see her projecting as a point at the next level. Don’t get me wrong, she can flat out shoot and is one of the better 3 point shooters around. Allen can fill it up even with a hand in her face. But she’s also very efficient with the ball and know where it needs to go. As she develops her ball handling and passing, her game will get even more scary.
