How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Big on fundamentals, court awareness and vision, fights for rebounds, and looks for opportunities to get teammates involved.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Team first mentality, critical thinker, gives 100 percent, tries to be the best in all I do. Focused, goal oriented, and always looking to improve and learn.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

1) Fellowship of Christian Athletes - Leader 2) Educators Rising - Class Representative 3) Beta Club 4) Student Government Association 5) National Honor's Society Ranked 3rd of 420+ in Class of 2026 at Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, TN.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

- Leader in several school clubs. - Team first approach. - Participates in community service opportunities with church and school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was diagnosed as a Type 1 Diabetic (T1D), an autoimmune disease, in January 2024 during the middle of my Sophomore year of high school and basketball. I've learned to face it head on by educating myself on all things related to T1D. I refused to let T1D keep from my dreams and I worked my way back to playing basketball again and being academically ranked in the top three in my class this year.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to work in the education profession so I'm looking for a school that offers degrees in that field of study. I also want to play basketball in college. I'm looking for a coach that takes education serious and that cares about me as a person as much as a a player.

Put Broome on your radar now because you are going to want this athlete on your team! She tracks the ball better than most. I love how she never gives up on a play. If she misses a shot, she is getting the rebound. If there is a loose ball, she is getting on the floor. Broome continues to put together the little things that will set her a part. Makayla was a great rim protector today. She continued to make it tough on opponents to score. A solid rebounder that has a good understanding of the game. Keep your eyes on this one!
