About Makayla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is intense and high-energy, built on hustle and effort. I have great court vision to run the offense and create plays, while also being a lockdown defender. I can score when needed, but I’m just as comfortable being a playmaker and setting up my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m kind, attentive, and really driven, with a big passion for basketball and helping my teammates succeed. I never give up, and it honestly frustrates me when others do. I want to be on the floor when it matters most, so I push myself to work hard on and off the court every day.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was in Jr. National Honor Society in middle school. I was choosen by my teachers to received the Academic-Leadership Award for my 8th Grade graduation. It's only given to one student. Every summer I volunteer one week as a Group Leader for my Church's Vacation Bible School program. Freshmen year has just begun so I will be looking to join some school organizations outside of my sports.
