Giselle’s on the ball defense eventually became unbearable. Towards the end of the game there wasn’t a defensive play she was not involved in. Her size and quick feet allows her to play both guard and front positions. Giselle finished with 15 points. Most of her offensive work was done in the first half. Her defense in the fourth quarter was crucial. Her steals or tip balls led to transition points that sparked the Cadet surge.

She drove the lane well getting contact while finishing. She had one spin move in the lane leading into a basket at the rim that was a thing of beauty. Thanks to Team Thrill for updating us on Giselle and her summer campaign. She showed range from beyond the arc and physicality and the willingness to seek out the contact and finish strong afterwards at the basket. She uses her pivot well and has some good pump fakes inside to get the defender off balance. She attacks well from the triple threat position.
