Over the summer, Battle shined offensively as a lead scorer that did her damage from all three levels. Marlie is on her way to putting together an All-State campaign.

Against South Pointe, Battle did her damage as a playmaker, keenly aware of where her teammates were on the floor at all times. Marlie dropped in three floaters and went 3-4 from the line to record 9 points, 2 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals.
