McKenna has carved out her own role on a high level program, and as a freshman, that’s not easy to do. Her length and agility are the main reasons she impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she can guard 1-2 and still cause problems for post players when/if switches happen. Offensively, she doesn’t need the ball in her hands to be effective. She’s in constant motion and never seems to lose energy. Strong upside.

Carrol already has a head start with her potential based on her frame and agility. She’s a multi sport type of athlete, and when you have those intangibles behind you, it’s a little easier to make an impact on the game. Her skill is her energy and her ability to get where she needs to with a minimal number of steps. The skill should develop over time, but you can see that the potential is there.
