You never know what’s going to happen when Meira has the rock in her hands! She reads the defense so well and finds ways to score- either she’s going to score the ball or she’s setting up her teammates to score! Love her crossover! And her defense creates nightmares for teams!

Mullins can put up points against anyone- I don’t care who is guarding her. She uses screens, her light feet and cross over dribble, and lets her athleticism and muscle memory take over! This is a guard who has always been able to play wtih such terrific instinct. And her motor keeps on going! Tough defender! (Below on defense)

Mullins plays so under control with the basketball, with her pin point passing! Beautiful jumpers in the paint!  Comes back on the next possession with a bank shot three! I’ve lost track of how many buckets Mullins has made just in the 1st quarter!  She finds ways to the charity stripe. And this young lady loves playing D! Outstanding in running the offense! As a freshman, Mullins received All- Central District Honorable Mention, and contributed to the Hawks 18-6 overall record. I love her decisions with the basketball! She is a play making machine, unselfish, and she can go through multiple defenders with ease when driving to the bucket!

I believe that by the time Mullins graduates, she will go down in Bishop Hartley history as one of the best guards to play the game. She is such a menace on defense, and her speed and motor is a problem. Her handles and shooting is textbook!

Special. Mullins is a next level, future Division 1 point guard. Period. She has the IQ, speed, defense, handles, scoring- and more. Meira plays with such a level head. She’s a team player. She’s coachable. And you can just tell more than anything- she wants to win.
