If you enjoy watching power wings, Merritt is for you. She has a strong frame, power, and toughness. She likes to seek physicality, but she is also skilled around the perimeter. She plays hard, rebounds her position well, and when she gets inside, she has a post player’s mentality and likes to create space with her body to finish at the rim. She is mostly a North/South driver, so I would still like to see her be a little more dynamic off the bounce, and I haven’t seen her shoot it enough outside to offer a strong opinion.
