About Taylee
Expert Analysis
Brandon Bradley | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Taylee has flown under the radar quite a bit the last couple of years, and she has really stood out this Spring. She is very athletic, she has a great frame with length, and she plays with a nonstop motor. She is great in transition, can get downhill in an instant, plus she defends with energy and rebounds her position well. She still plays a lot off of athletic talent, but she also has a lot more talent than most of her peers. As she continues learning the nuances of the game and how to play more efficiently in the half-court, she could be a high-level small college performer in the future.

had one of the more impressive AAU springs among Indiana’s 2027 wings and continued proving why she deserves to be viewed as one of the top small forwards in the class. Fisher consistently produced offensively throughout the spring while also showing growth in other areas of her game. Her confidence, skill level, and ability to score against quality competition stood out during multiple events.
Fisher does an excellent job using her size and strength to create advantages offensively. She can score at multiple levels and showed the ability to finish through contact around the rim while also stretching defenses with her perimeter shooting. One of the biggest improvements in her game this spring was her consistency as a shooter and her ability to stay aggressive offensively throughout entire games. She moves well without the basketball and understands how to position herself to create scoring opportunities.
In transition, Fisher runs the floor hard and can make plays in open space. She also showed flashes as a secondary playmaker, making smart reads and finding teammates when defenses focused heavily on her scoring ability. Defensively, she competes with effort and physicality while continuing to improve laterally against quicker guards and wings.
What makes Fisher stand out is her ability to consistently impact games offensively while still contributing in other areas. She had several strong performances this spring against high-level competition, and her overall production continues to support her case as one of Indiana’s rising 2027 forwards.

was one of the most impressive players to watch throughout the weekend at The Classic Tournament. What immediately stands out about Fisher is her nonstop motor and the energy she brings on both ends of the floor every single possession.
She plays the game with tremendous effort and toughness, constantly hustling all over the court and making winning plays for her team. Whether it was chasing down loose balls, competing defensively, or pushing the pace offensively, Fisher’s activity level never slowed down and consistently impacted the game.
Another thing that makes her so impressive is how well she understands her game. Fisher did a great job of making smart decisions with the basketball, finding teammates for open looks, and attacking off the drive when opportunities presented themselves. She played with confidence and under control while consistently putting pressure on the defense.
Her combination of effort, basketball IQ, and competitiveness makes her extremely fun to watch and allows her to impact the game in multiple ways. Fisher’s hustle and overall presence on the floor helped her stand out as one of the top performers throughout the event.

I’ve known Taylee as a prospect since her middle school days, but this was my first time seeing her in probably 18 months. She has an athletic frame, some strength, nice length, and she runs and jumps well. She played with a great motor Friday, she was constantly involved in trapping situations defensively, and she pushed the ball hard in transition and finished around the basket in a variety of ways. I think the combination of her toughness, her athleticism, and her understanding of the game should really help her recruitment, plus she can step in and play a variety of roles in different systems.

Taylee is yet another wing prospect who I feel like some of the better small colleges in the Midwest would appreciate. She is a long, athletic, versatile player who can play anywhere from the mid-post to the perimeter, but she also plays with a really nice motor. She is an effective rebounder who pursues caroms outside of her area, and she is aggressive attacking the basket with put-backs or drives from the perimeter. She has some ball skill and a little touch, plus she is an outstanding defender who plays with versatility at that end of the floor as well.

Taylee Fishers is another player from the Shamrock Classic who I feel doesn’t get the attention she deserves, but being part of a talented Indiana Basketball Club 17U S40 team gives her the platform to showcase her abilities. She competes hard and continues to make an impact within her role on a talented roster.
What stands out in her game is her ability to get downhill and put pressure on the defense. She does a good job of attacking the basket and forcing defenders to make decisions, which creates scoring opportunities for both herself and her teammates. Her aggressiveness and willingness to attack help set the tone offensively.
As she continues to compete this spring and summer, Taylee has the opportunity to gain more recognition and show that she can be a consistent contributor against high-level competition.

Taylee is the younger sister of 2025 Carmel guard Taryn Fisher. Taylee is a little taller, longer, but a similar athlete. She runs and jumps well, does a great job of attacking in transition, and she simply makes athletic plays other girls just can’t. She is a bigger guard/wing, and she’s able to defend three positions because of it. As she continues to develop her skillset, look for her to transition into a really nice, athletic, sizeable guard.
