Grace is a fantastic facilitator and defender at the point guard spot who can make a difference at the next-level. She had a very good opening day for Frankenmuth at Northwood Team Camp. Grace penetrated off the dribble to give shooters wide open looks on the perimeter and dished out assists to cutters with good touch on her lob entries. Her perimeter pressure, active hands, and anticipated resulted in multiple steals, which led to transition points. Grace dove on the floor to chase after 50/50 balls, communicated actively with teammates, and handled the ball with poise. Grace protected the ball with her body on a hard drive to the basket and finished strong at the rim. She has tight handles, knows exactly where the ball needs to go, and is a very effective court general.

Grace is second all-time for career assists at Frankenmuth. She received TVC Red All-Conference First Team honors and helped the Eagles secure a share of the division title. Grace is very effective as a perimeter defender and a traditional point guard who creates off the dribble and distributes the ball to open teammates.

Grace was determined to help her team win against one of the best teams in D1 and that’s exactly what she did. Grace picked up the offense early, using a screen to drive by defenders for a layup. She utilized an effective pivot dribble to beat her defender for a baseline floater and knocked down her free throw after scoring a strong layup off two feet. Grace deflected passes and created multiple steals on defense that she turned into assists. Grace ended the game with 9 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals. Her complete performance was crucial to Frankenmuth’s 39-31 win over Heritage.
