Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would describe my gameplay style as a smart and versatile combo guard. I’m a three-level scorer who can knock down the three, finish at the rim, and hit the mid-range. My size lets me create mismatches, whether I’m posting up smaller guards or stretching the floor. I love setting up my teammates, but I also know when to take over. My basketball IQ helps me read defenses and make the right play.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m a quiet and thoughtful person who takes everything I do seriously—especially when it comes to my team and my goals. I love to laugh and have fun with the people I’m close to, but I’m also very focused and driven. I’m someone my teammates can count on because I stay calm under pressure, lead by example, and genuinely care about the people around me. I love learning new things.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I’ve received academic awards— straight A student. I was in band and volunteer with the Emily JT Perez Foundation.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve been co-captain of both my basketball and flag football teams, where I’ve learned to lead with focus, humility, and support. I volunteer regularly and value service, inspired by my mom’s time as a U.S. Army Captain. My faith keeps me grounded and guides how I treat others and show up every day.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One of the toughest challenges I’ve faced was having to share a serious secret that a close friend confided in me. It involved her safety, and even though I knew it could cost our friendship, I also knew that her life mattered more. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, but it taught me that doing the right thing isn’t always easy—especially when it involves people you care about.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that will challenge me both academically and athletically. I take my studies seriously and plan to continue with rigorous courses like AP and Honors. I also want to be part of a basketball program where the culture reflects my values—hard work, putting people first, and a supportive environment where I feel safe and free to live out my Christian faith.
